Niscayah: Dumbest Possible Security Business Name?

Okay.
Just found out that “Securitas Systems,” a major commercial alarm/etc integrator/service/installation company has changed their name to Niscayah [1] .
They also own a number of smaller firms that used to be independent.
Some, like Hamilton Pacific, continue to use their old names.

So, here’s the question:
Is it just me, or is Niscayah [Sanskrit for security] the dumbest-sounding possible name for this kind of company?

I don’t really care for it, but I wouldn’t say it’s the “dumbest possible security business name”. That would probably be something like “Wimpy Security Inc.” or “Sleepy Security Co.” or “Insecure Enterprises Ltd.”.

Is there some reason for them to use Sanskrit? Or just because they think it sounds cool?

Guys, we were just funnin’. Give back Mr. Slant.

Brinks brand now will be exclusively devoted to security services and cash handling.

I’d assume it’s someone’s last name, or the name of a town or something. I think it’s fine. I like it better than Securitas.

Hijack - I’m having a fence installed once I close on my house and was looking for fencing contractors. I came across one called “Upright Fencing.” My first thought was what good would a fence do if it was horizontal…

First thing I think of when I hear “Brinks” is “Brinks Mat robbery”. Brand recognition, but not desirable.
