NLCS Arizona vs Colorado

Woohoo. Game 1 to the good guys

Took down the stud in the rotation and beat him square, ace against ace(even if our ace looks about 14 years old).

That illegal slide was something I didn’t expect to be called in the playoffs. It was obvious, but most umps don’t have the balls to make that rare, big time call when all is on the line. I totally expected him to put the whistle(forearm?) in his pocket. Destiny is with the Rockies; bow before the momentum.
Perhaps the desert can be rewetted with Arizona tears and bloom into a paradise , Boston you are next to weep.
(yeah I have kept silent all year hoping, the calls always go against my guys, and it never works out, but now I will not hold back. The umps have the balls to make the right calls and karma is good(Holliday getting a game-ending-outfield-putout was the clincher))

GO FREAKIN ROCKIES GO!!!

Go Diamondbacks!

Rockies pitcher Brian Fuentes had this to say on ESPN.com about the fans in Arizona throwing bottles on the field:

You know, in the Phillies-Rockies series, I don’t recall seeing anything thrown on the field by fans during the games in Philadelphia. In Game 3 in Colorado, however, I seem to remember something (a ball??) being thrown into left field at Jayson Werth in the 8th inning. Seems like both teams in the NLCS have classy fans.

That said, it’s hard to find a more exciting team right now than the Rockies.
