What kind of food? Italian? I could go for gnocchi soup, pollo parmagiana, and a cannoli. And a good vino, too. Chardonnay or chablis? Too light. Pinot noir works!

Who’s coming along?

I will, gladly - thanks for asking, mi amigo!

Can I join you too? It all sounds most luscious. Pizza, pasta, Chianti, calamari, yummy! Andiamo amici! Mangia!

I would happily munch such a yummy picnic.

I don’t drink alcohol and find fish yucky! Pizza and pasta sound good, though.

Fish yucky? How sad to find this opinion of such a nutritious and flavorful food :(. All of you fish fans, any thoughts on how to sway this unhappy anti-piscatorial notion?

Could all of us cook tasty cod, tuna or salmon for him?

It isn’t that I do not find fish tasty- it’s that fish look so sad, I cannot find it in my guts to kill such poor things.

Crab and cousins, such as the luscious homarus, OTOH, act angry and not sad, so I will scarf such down with no compunction. My craving and passion for crab and octopus know no bounds!

I think that Ms. Xmas, our fish non-fan, is probably not a “him”?

I am not a “him,” but I do sing “hymns.”

Hard to think of any that comply with conditions of this discussion. “Holy, Holy, Holy”, “Joyful Joyful”, and “Crown Him With Many Crowns” on first blush, but lyrics soon foil hunt…

Don’t omit spirituals such as “Roll, Jordan, Roll”, “All God’s Chillun Got Wings” and “Kumbaya.” And how about including hymns and spirituals with half or full homonyms, such as “Amazing Grays”, “All My Travails Lord” and “Purly Gaits”?

Alas, “Crown Him With Many Crowns” sadly brings on thoughts of hours in the Prosthodontist’s chair having crowns put on my molars and bicuspids.

Ah, that’s a good point. Thanks.

Coming back again to said topic at hand…fish IS yucky. Who can rightfully claim this is not so?

Gollum would not think so. Nor would a gull.

Nor would inhabitants of Finland or Japan or many piscatorially inclining, fish-loving nations.
Plainly put, fish is not yucky! It’s yummy!
I admit that individuals may not think my claim valid. but gustibus non disptandum in Latin, or Chacun a son goût, with Francophonia.

May all Christians savor this joyous day of our lord and saviour’s rising!

Joy to all Christians on our holy days! And if you mark this passing of Abraham’s sons from Pharaoh’s land, joyful holy days to you too.

Lo, yon victim of crucifixion is out of his tomb! Amazing, isn’t it? Truly, this man was (or is) Son of God!
