no South Park 11/1 thread?

How bizarre!

All I have to say is  :dubious: :smack:  and

Well, it is a two-parter. Maybe everyone is waiting for the episode to actually finish.

I was asking myself all through the last ten minutes, “Where the hell are they going with this?”

I’m still a little disturbed. I can’t talk about it.

When Mrs. Garrison summarized evolution: “You’re the retarded offspring of five monkeys having buttsex with a fish-squirrel,” I laughed so hard I couldn’t breathe.

I am loving this season.

Cartman is bed watching the clock was rather amusing.

“Maybe it’s the how and not the why?” was a interesting aside as well.

I loved this ep. Just the sea otter/Lemiwinks voice cracks me up. And Mr. Garrison’s tits. Ugh.

Mrs. Garrison’s tits, not Mr.

As long as you brought it up, she prefers **Miss ** Garrison.

I loved the little Buck Rodger’s in the 25th Century thing with Cartman. The Sea Otters were an interesting twist. I await the conclusion.

Jim

Was that really Richard Dawkins’ voice? Because he struck me as the type of guy who was twisted enough to do this sort of thing willingly (I’m going by his Colbert Report interview a few weeks ago)

Wiki and IMDB do not say for sure. I think it was him, but hard to say.

I loved the FSM making it into the episode. I would love to see it make it into the second part as an actual entity. I think I saw the IPU as Cartman was rotating into the future.

What was the title of last night’s episode? According to the Comedy Central website, it was titled “Go, God. Go! Part 2”. Other South Park episode guides are also calling it “Go, God. Go! Part 2” but there was no Part 1 and there is no listing for a Part 3.

My guess is they’ll call the second part “Go, God. Go! Part 1,” as a satire on sci-fi time travel stories.

I hear the Sea Otter are the natural enemy of the CRAB PEOPLE!

It seems that last night’s episode was for some reason called “Go, God. Go! Part II”.
I wonder if there will ever be a continuation. Comedy Central’s website has the TV schedule up to Nov. 22 and there’s no mention of it.

whatever it is, they’re keeping it awfully quiet. Too quiet.

Bah, I hate when my nitpick has to be nitpicked. Right you are though.

Two words, Monkey hole.

I gagged.

I thought it was kind of a hatchet job on atheists, and not a very clever one either. They’re beating on straw men. Very few atheists would try to argue that evolution disproves God and very few want to eliminate religion.

I can agree with Diogenes’s point for sure; in general, when it comes to South Park, I find plenty of funny gags (the whole buttsex evolutionary family tree, and the Cartman Wii story), but the overarching theme usually adds up to something objectionable and often poorly-conceived. They’re accepting the fundamentalist Christian idea that secular education means teaching kids to ridicule religion.

There’s probably no part I (or part III). They’ll just air another totally unrelated episode just to mess with people’s expectations.
