No tampon ads where the Pope might see 'em

I agree. For the record my grandma lives in a pretty rural area and the priests that I’ve met there have been really cool guys. The drive to clean when he comes over is totally self-driven in this case.

Non-popes you say? There is a remedy for that. From the Discordian literature here you can see that anyone can be an honest-to-goshen Pope! I even located a card generatorhere so you can print off your own.
Problem solved, my friend, and one can now be an officially licensed and outraged Pope. (By the way, Thudlow, I love your username.

 So they were drinking an early version of mass-market American beer?

It’s gone beyond “no beer ads” to a ban on sale of beer, wine, and liquor in some parts of Poland. I thought that, whatever its other faults, Catholicism at least didn’t have the stupid prohibitionist attitude toward alcohol that too many Protestant denominations have. Guess it ain’t so

Trust me, Catholicism in general doesn’t. When I was a full-time volunteer with a Catholic org, we lived with brothers and every house had a well-stocked bar. And communion wine is “real”. It sounds from this and the other article that Poland tends to be conservative.

I love that one of the testimonals had a blood pressure of 293/187 and didn’t die.

Also, I love:

I know that. That’s why this particular expression of idiocy shocks me.
