I have no idea how accurate the DM, but you don’t appear to understand what you are reading. That article states their profits are down based on an accounting adjustment. It has nothing to do with the NYT’s popularity or not.

Hell, even Trump has already abandoned his “stated agenda.” Front and center now is the big infrastructure plan whereby Trump can make even more millions and billions of dollars by [del]selling[/del] influencing contracts. Follow the money. That is the key to the Big D. Nothing else matters as much. If there are auxiliary benefits to the USA, it’s all good. But his own bottom line matters the most.

You’re projecting your prejudice of wealth into the conversation. I know many people with considerable wealth who are philanthropic to the point they risked losing everything.

I don’t know if Trump is going to abuse his power but he’s already on record as making it difficult for his cabinet to do so. I also know Hillary extensively abused her position to acquire wealth and it goes back many years. The Whitewater investment scandal. Read the timeline of this scandal. It involves shady business deals by the Clintons and former political appointees. People went to jail and committed suicide over this and files disappeared, were prevented from being accessed or ordered destroyed by the Clintons. NONE of this was brought up my the main stream media during the election. It was as if it never happened. Many young voters are completely unaware of it and it’s just one of the many scandals.

I’ll say this again, the Republican party did everything they could to shut down Trump and the Democratic party did everything they could to make Hillary their nominee. Democrats made Trump the next POTUS. With few exceptions they could have randomly pulled a Democratic female politician’s name out of a hat and made her President.

If Trump flushes twice he’ll be accused of wasting water. And that’s what the press SHOULD be doing but that didn’t happen this election.

As I’ve been saying all along, his personal bottom line is the ONLY reason he ever wanted to be President. Nothing else matters to him.
