Probably expect it every year. In fact, he’ll expect them to rename it the Trump Peace Prize.
Again, it’s embarrassing that he brings this up every time he speaks to the Norwegian prime minister.
The next time he brings it up, she can say, “…but you already have a Nobel medal….”
“There are many Nobel laureates, but you have a FIFA peace prize. Nobody else in the world has one of those. Why would you need a Nobel?”
Again, this is the POTUS, not a small child who needs to be soothed so they will go to bed and wait until morning to open their presents.

Clearly, they meant in his eyes.
I bet that officials at the Nobel Foundation are mightily pissed at Machado for her groveling sycophancy that undermines the value and dignity of the Nobel prize. They probably regret awarding it to her and wish that Nobel medals were equipped with a self-destruct mechanism!

The Best in Show winner at the 2025 Westminster Dog Show - Monty, a Gian Schnauzer, has decided to gift his Best In Show medal to Trump.
Monty was quoted as saying “Ruff Ruff Ruff” which Trump understood to mean “You’re the best ever sir, and I think you deserve this more than me.”

There is precedent regarding Nobel Prizes BTW: Knut Hamsun gifted his Nobel Prize medal (literature, 1920) to Joseph Goebbels in 1943. That did not make Goebbels a Nobel Laureate, of course, and it seems he did not publicly crow about “his” medal.
This, again, is what I don’t understand about a narcissist - how he doesn’t grasp that this is embarrassing to him.
I mean, I know a few narcissists, but not a single one of them would have blatantly demanded a Nobel prize the way Trump did if they were in his shoes. They’d have used all kinds of sly devious indirect means to passive-aggressive their way into getting it.
Because Trump is a very, very stupid narcissist. His complete lack of self-awareness is just stunning and downright comical.
The internet is alive and well with one meme after another making fun of trump being given different medals. He gets the Gold Flour Medal from the puffy marshmallow and bowling trophies and so many more. One of my personal favorites is trump receiving the grammy from milli vanilli.
But I have to say, this is all quickly becoming not funny anymore. Bad things are happening in Minnesota.
