Asked how far he was willing to go to acquire Greenland, President Trump said, “You’ll find out.” His terse reply, following lengthy remarks about his first year back in office, came as his threats to take over Greenland have imperiled the stability of U.S. alliances.
Given his whole TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out) reputation, I actually take this statement as some bluffing comfort that he won’t go after Greenland after all and he’ll switch to his new distraction/fad by the end of January.
“You’ll find out” is Donald-speak for “I have no fucking idea what I’m doing here”. He has no plan and no idea of how to get from Point A to Point B except for “say what I want to happen and wait for someone to do it for me, because I’m the world’s most special boy and everyone wants to make me happy”.
He won’t invade Greenland because he’s too chickenshit to attack an enemy that can fight back, and Europe isn’t giving it to him for free like he expects everyone to do all the time, so he’s got nothing left except maybe to say “We’ll be making a major announcement in two weeks” or “nobody knew Greenland was so complicated”.
He’s not even thanking anyone for their attention to this matter?
I realize that a National Geographic Survey back in 2002 showed an appalling lack of geographical knowledge and clearly a distinct absence of education in that field, but is he aware that Norway and Denmark are different countries?
No? Just as I feared. The “leader” of the free world can probably locate Mexico and Canada on a map, but say, Venezuela? I have my doubts.

I would think the stopping of wars would be worthy of a serious historical book. It would be interesting to understand exactly how he managed that. Be a good addition to the trump libarry, too.
In most of those wars, Trump didn’t stop them. He mostly helped negotiate a ceasefire (sometimes very minimal help), and those have frequently been broken. For example, there’s supposedly a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, but the Israelis still sometimes attack and kill Palestinians.
I don’t believe he even did that much.
He thought about an idea for a concept of a plan to negotiate a ceasefire?
