'Nobody knew that healthcare could be so complicated'

Trump establishes the fact that he is either (or both) the stupidest person to ever run for president or the biggest liar to run for president.

EVERYONE with a high school education and an IQ above 60 knew that healthcare was extremely complicated.

He can be both .Trump, and his supporters, believe our complex problems have simple solutions.

Definitely both. But still not as dumb as the people who support him.

Just popped up on my Twitter feed.
Starts with video/audio of 45’s quote - then moves on to Obama’s quotes on the matter.

Mike Luckovich’s take

Everyone but you knew it was a complex issue, Trumplefuck.

  1. Repeal, but don’t replace.
  2. Blame Obama for ruining American healthcare with dirty socialism.
  3. Profit.

It’s probably a bad sign when one side cites white papers and government estimates for their plans and the other side says it’s either a secret or don’t worry, it’ll be tremendous, believe me folks, and the electorate goes with the second guy.

Man, this Administration has been one shocking revelation after another, hasn’t it? First, the stunning news that a nuclear war would be bad; now this. I bet Trump has some people–the best people, believe me!–working on all sorts of other pressing issues:

The Pope. Some people are saying he’s Catholic! Get to the bottom of this!
Bears. Where do they poop? I read that they do that in the woods.
Water. Is it wet?

What a fucking idiot. I don’t think I can stomach watching his speech tomorrow night.

No no, to be fair, lots of his voters believe in the presidential magic wand.

And that doesn’t even count the people who think we should just go back to the ACA system and be done with it, which is a lot more simple.

If we keep the ACA. that’s OK. But we don’t want Obamacare!

"He simply will not ever say something like “I didn’t know…” in this kind of context. So he says “Nobody knew…”. I like this twitter someone posted ! No shit health care is complicated look at damn book Medicare send you every year! I had doctors tell me they don’t deal with the insurance when I ask them a question about.

Who’s the bigger idiot, Trump, or the average working class Trump voter?

Who’s the bigger idiot, Trump, or the rank and file Republican voters who ate up the anti ACA rhetoric like candy, and put these jabonis into Congess?

That’s right. That’s exactly how stupid his supporters are. Their one and only solution was “vote for anyone who ran against that loud-mouthed woman who didn’t know her place”. See how simple that is?

This is not an exaggeration: I cry for my county today.

Gah, I meant PRE-ACA system. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yup. Easy answers that coincidentally align with their pre-existing beliefs, wants and values. All of the problems are due to problems caused by big government, non-whites, a lack of market capitalism, etc and there are easy, simplistic answers to all the major problems that have perplexed the smartest leaders and academics on earth that ‘they’ won’t let anyone implement.

This last election cycle really turned me off populism. Not just Trump, but there were reports that Sander’s economic numbers didn’t add up.

Probably the voters, but we’re stuck listening to Trump everyday, so he’s going to be the target of most of our ire.

The steaming, noxious, oral flatulence never stops with this thing.

Is he planning on declaring a War Against Health Care?

It’s a better post as you wrote it.
