Nothing immensely important here…just a realization I came to after looking more closely at the current Nodwick…Aaron Williams plays City of Heroes/Villains!
I mean, sure, he’s been doing the occasional Nodwick-characters-as-superheroes strip for a few years now, but I never realized how many of the design elements are right out of CoH/CoV! I read the linked strip this morning and wondered just what was nagging at me about it. Then I played my Necromancy mastermind (not pirate-themed) for a few hours today and happened to go back and read the strip again…and the zombies just jumped out at me. Then everything began to jump out at me: the spiked shoulderbands, the pirate hook, the jacket, the pegleg, the hat, the musketeer mustache, the zombies, the dark cloud when he summons them…
So how does Cap’n Rigur DeMortis look?
