Nokia Ringtones

I’ve been downloading various ringtones for my Nokia Phone, but there are still quite a few songs no one has made into ringtones. Is there a way you can write the tunes yourself,i.e.,punch a sequence of buttons so that the desired tune comes out, then save that tune? Obviously it can be done, but how?

Any help would be appreciated.

There are certain models of Nokia phones with a feature called Composer. I’ve got a Nokia 3390 and it has that feature available. I’m not sure about which other ones have it.
