I was thinking about the holiday and a movie set on Independence Day came to mind: Force of Evil, a film noir from 1948. It’s about the numbers racket and the major plot point is that on July 4th, the number 776 is heavily wagered on.

I’m not sure if there are many others. Any ideas?
