I work in a boarding / reform school for low-income, troubled youth. We teach a blue-collar trade and help students earn their GED or HS diploma. I teach the reading & language arts section of the GED. Last Friday my favorite student was kicked out of the program for, frankly, a pretty serious offense. I was crestfallen.
