Are we allowed to discuss the politics of countiries other than the USA on this forum
Yes.
We have often discussed politics of UK, Canada, and at least a few others.
There’s a whole thread about Starmer, and another about the King, etc.
In a word, yes. You can discuss the politics of any country as far as I am aware, mods please correct me if I am wrong about that. So go for it.
Moderating:
Welcome to the SDMB @dcbwhaley. To follow up on the poster’s answers you’ve received, yes, you can discuss politics of nations other than the USA, and we frequently do. Both as they relate to US politics and entirely in their own right.
In general, questions about how the message board does things should be in the About This Message Board Forum, but new posters can find our layout confusing. I always advise new posters to read our TOS (at the bottom of every page) and especially read the rules of each forum they wish to post in.
Since the question is answered, I’m closing the thread, but feel free to read and contribute within the guidelines above, and if you have any questions, you can contact me or any other appropriate moderator via DM. The moderators of each forum are listed in the “About” stickies at the top of the individual forums, along with the rules I mentioned.
