Actually, John, I didn’t take a picture in our room. I was too tired to even think about it, even though I wanted to capture a picture of the room only for posterity.
Capturing on film (or, on pixel) the events that may have happened in the other bed that night was the last thing on my mind. Sleep was my sole priority.
So, don’t worry. Most of the other pictures I took are rather embarrassing, though. 
So post them already, Montfort!!!
I had so much fun! Really, everyone who hasn’t yet should absolutely put themselves out to come to the next nearest Dopefest. I can’t remember when I enjoyed myself so much. I think the high points have been posted by others – “changing,” ChiefScott’s and UncleBeer’s incredible generosity, Elelle’s cheesecake fairy, Cabbage’s very, very nasty drink, midnight putt-putt… on and on. However, I’m gonna say that the truly best part of the evening was being around so many people who ‘get’ me (my husband says he isn’t surprised that seeing so many people who ‘get’ me scared the Baptists!). This was an unusual experience for me. Again, unbelievable fun!
BTW, many thanks to RTFirefly for walking me to my parking garage – it was over a block from the Marriott and after 3 AM! My husband says thank you and I say, tell your wife what a gentleman you are!

Hey, ya know, Ms. Pot, he wasn’t the only one there with a camera. When do we get to see the pictures you took? And will said selection include any pictures taken from 10 PM Saturday until 10 AM Sunday? Hmmm?
My pictures have been dropped off at CVS to get developed. So NYAH!
And NO, there were no pictures from that time period. Melin had my camera, remember?
My pictures have been passed on to Falcon and then Peta Tzunami for use in making a dopefest web page. I’d do it myself, but I don’t have the time this week to do so.

I just got a call from a payphone in NC from elelle. Apparently they’ve had a bit of a storm down there and a lot of the telephones are out, thus she has no internet connection. She told me that Bell South said it could be a long as 10 days before her service is restored. I guess you could say she’s getting “changed” by Bell South.
Anyway, she asked me to pass along her warmest regards to all of you and tell you that she truly enjoyed your company. Big thanks and hugs also go to the Chief for his generosity picking up the dinner tab. Aenea, elelle says you’re the best; you know why.
John, if you’d like a red wig or plugs, she’s willing to negotiate.

I had a hotel room; do you think I would have ‘changed’ in a car in a parking garage? I’m not as athletic as I used to be! 
Jess - aw shucks, it was nothin’. Besides, what better way to end the night (given that we weren’t going to ‘change’ together!) than to walk the streets with a gorgeous babe whose company I was thoroughly enjoying?
Which reminds me, at the miniature golf course, Jess kept bringing up the idea of strip Putt-Putt, but complaining that she was disadvantaged by wearing too few articles of clothing (not that anyone was complaining, mynd you). I suggested that the rest of us might be willing to start off even with her on that score, but nothing ever came of it.
FWIW, Corrado exaggerates the extent of my Putt-Putt win; I edged Satan by a stroke. I’m not sure who was stroking him, but it apparently distracted him just enough.
I wish I could list the high points of the weekend, but there were so many of them. I think the best thing was the luxury of having more than just a few hours together; there really was enough time to relax and become comfortable with just about everyone. Special thanks to UncleBeer for picking up the bar tab after dinner, and especially to Phil and Peta for giving me a ride down and back. Anyone who can put up with me in a small, enclosed space for several hours at a stretch can’t be all bad. And it was a hell of a lot more pleasant being with you guys in the traffic jam on the way back, than by my lonesome.
Well folks, I haven’t taken the time to share my PERSONAL feelings about the weekend (they are all good), but there’s no saying I won’t share them soon…<insert manical laugh> And I’d just LOVE to respond to some of the posts in this thread, which followed my accounts/reviews.
But, yes, Falcon and Montfort are indeed correct, I’m soliciting photos for compilation as the Norfolk Doperfest website creator. I have Falcon’s and Montfort’s pics and am eagerly waiting YOURS (and you know who you are)!!
If you do not have the time or resources to scan them and submit them to me digitally, never fear. You may feel free to snail mail them to me, and I’ll scan them and send them back. If that’s a bit pricey (depending on just how many pictures you took), feel free to send the negatives and I’ll have my own set of prints made for scanning and return the negatives to you (I wouldn’t mind some genuine photographic memories meself).
Chief Scott, we’ll be scheduling the cat-scan later to retrieve those “mental pictures” (and count your blessings, I was going to say “anal probe” and thought better of it).

So when are we going to see some pictures on-line? Hmmm? If you’ve already had pictures sent your way, then certainly some pcitures are up, right? Or do we have to wait until you’ve gotten all the pictures and arranged them just so before you’ll reveal any of them to us?
