Awhile back, I posted about a Defender Cabinet I’d successfully restored from the dead…well that awakened a desire to remember more of my misspent youth, and the Defender Cab was too nice to chop up.
A spare PC, State Government surplus Monitor, a Tankstick, and a Craigslist Basket Case Cabinet later, and I’m warping my kids suitably. I don’t actually get the controller til Christmas, til then, we’re just lumping along with a keyboard and mouse…and it’s freezing in the garage, which is just as good…make memories.
And I was happily surprised as the improvements they’ve made to MAME over the years:
