Nostradamus, the man who predicted NOTHING!

:smack:

Trueness, tom…the post about the lion of England caught my eye and I forgot I was reading the reference thread instead of the current one…

Sorry!

Oh, just admit it. You aren’t closing the thread because you, like all of us, are waiting for ChainGangis2Sweet to come back and vindicate Nostradamus in all of our eyes.

I know I am. The opportunity to either (a) be proven wrong on a subject of which I am 100% certain - i.e. Nostradamus being a chump, or (b) laugh at a credulous doofus falling on his face in GD, is what my $15 registration fee was meant to buy me.

(OneCentStamp idly crunches popcorn and shifts in his seat…)

Yes, I’ll make a thread on it, but I already made a long thread about Graham Hancock and if I make very many more too quickly with too much bonus info added in, people may get sick of me real fast

Seventh month is July, and in July 1999, JFK Jr.'s plane fell to the earth. He was the reigning son of “Camelot”; hence, a king.

Either Nostradamus was right, or this “backwards predicting shuffle” is better than his fans think.

Are you being serious? If not, please skip the rest of this post:

  1. How was JFK Jr. “fearsome?”
  2. How did he restore the “great King of Angolmois” by dying in a plane crash?
  3. WTF is Angolmois, anyway?
  4. Didn’t anything interesting happen in September 1999? Then you could claim that Nostradamus meant the second month on the Roman calendar! This JFK Jr. one just seems a bit weak.

Oh man, I can see this thread is going to be priceless  …that, or a bloodbath. [Onomatopoeia settles in his chaise with a nice iced tea and prepares for the merriment].

I’ll tell you this…1999…

It’s not JFK plane crash…

Mongols isn’t referring to america…

Where TF did you get “Mongols” from? Hopefully not from “Angolmois.” Otherwise this thread just got a lot more boring.

You would be better off actually filling out this claim (if you are able) than getting yourself banned for spamming the board with web pages taken without attribution from elsewhere on the net.

Stick around and make your argument.

And hurry it up, wouldya? I’m already done with the buttery popcorn form the top and am down to the dry, salty middle layer. If I get to crunching the unpopped kernels and you still haven’t come up with anything substantive, it’s the Pit for you. :D:mad:

That’s a common tranlation

actually, you should be able to figure out basically, if you read the previous and following quatrains it becomes even more clear

You know, you said you wanted more specific topics, so that’s what I gave you.

Now you’re making this strange claim that I didn’t discuss the topics or their not discussable. Absurd, I discussed myself these things in my own words in those threads. I’ll discuss Nostradamus the way I choose to and when

Evidently, neither do you - so why even mention it?

Well, he did say something along those lines or something didn’t he? Or at least there are rumors of a “key” yet to be discovered…I actually didn’t just think that up out of the air…

plus, in the context of the post, the reason it was mentioned should be clear

Oookaaaay. I think we’re done here.

Great, so he said something like “there’s a hidden key to all this bollocks that will make it all crystal clear and pertinent”; so what? It would be something if such a key had actually been discovered, but as it stands, the claim is meaningless posturing (on the part of Nostradamus).

Rumors? Read a few GD threads and find out how far you will get with an argument supported by rumors. It is clear that you believe in the accuracy of the “predictions,” but simple assertions of belief are useless in this forum.

You mean not like the other stuff you mentioned?

Actually, aside from a single sentence repeatinmg text from other links, each of your other threads appeared to be a copy-and-paste of other web sites. That does not quite make it to the level of “your own words.”

These are all my own words and discussion
