I really do enjoy many of the songs I’ve heard from Ms. Winehouse, but the pictures you post here are fairly hard to dispute. I suspect there was a time when she could have been quite lovely, before the extended trainwreck that is her rise to fame began…

I guess I can sort of see someone who might be sexy without being attractive (though by definition it seems kind of a weird thing to say), but how can a woman be attractive and not sexy?

Really? I suppose it’s the ultimate in personal taste, but for instance I find Gweneth Paltrow to be attractive, but not at all sexy. Even rolling around in the sheets in “Shakespeare In Love”, she did nothing for me. Most models fall into that category for me as well. “Attractive” is the body…“sexy” is the spirit in the body.
Might this be worthy of a separate discussion in IMHO?
I notice that the “nice” pictures all have her with her mouth closed.
She did have braces once, so at some point her parents did care about her teeth. My brother is friends with her cousin, and he’s mentioned seeing childhood pictures of the two of them together, with Amy in braces.
