Not a teahouse I would ever go to

Oh HELL no!

I have trouble walking around Kelethin in Everquest, let along being on teh side of a cliff going for a cuppa tea…

That had better be some damn good tea.

You might prefer here for dinner.

I’m with you. Let’s find out if they deliver.

Cash only? I only brought the cards!”

I have serious issues with heights … so no

I don’t even climb ladders or stand on stepstools/chairs.

Nah. Looks too touristy.

How can that possible be worth it?

'Cause it’s there?

I’d go there. Do they take reservations?

If it’s that hard to get the diners there, how’d they get the building there?

Neither one of those sound appetizing to me. Holy fear of heights Batman!

I like the warning to “be very careful when passing someone going in the opposite direction.”

To be sort of honest, it almost looks like there might be an alternate route there, if you look at the picture of the teahouse on the crest, to the right side of the picture is a bunch of green… trees and shrubs, might mean there is a lesser slope on that side, leading to that set of carven steps.

Jeebus. The wooden planks are what got me. I’ve hiked on cliffs with very narrow trails and chains handholds before, but I was always on solid ground. Those planks look like they may fall apart at any time.

I look at trails like that, and I always wonder… “How did they build that thing in the first place?” Because someone had to haul the planks and chains up there, and carve the steps, and all that, they didn’t just grow there.

And though I love tea I can’t imagine going through all that trouble just for a cup or three.

Someone goes to work there every day.

If I worked there, I’d make arrangements to sleep there and only go home on the weekends. Possibly by helicopter.

Dude. They serve Lipton.

There are not enough languages in which I could say “Hell, no!”
I’ll just stay home and have a nice cup of this Celestial Seasonings, 'K?

Not for all the… I forget how that saying goes.

I didn’t even like looking at the pictures. My heart is pounding.

I’ve heard about a wine bar in – I think – Vienna that’s pretty much the opposite. It’s something like 100 feet down a hole in the ground, and the only access is by a circular stone staircase with no railing. But at least they finally installed a couple of light bulbs.

I’d go. But it would be very difficult. I’m used to climbing with harnesses and such - going up some of those routes would just be not on. Oof. But I think I’d give it a go.
