I think it’s pretty clear. He’s not angry at all that 50+ people are dead and at least as many wounded. However, he is outraged that on the very afternoon of the deadliest mass shooting in American history, with the bodies as yet unidentified, liberals still had not started the kind of Pit thread he’d just denounced liberals for starting.
Liberals and conservatives alike were instead posting about the Orlando shooting in the MPSIMS thread on the subject, started a good ten hours before this one.
It’s a shame that the bodies of 50+ innocent people who were senselessly murdered, and whos bodies aren’t even cold yet, are being used by leftists everywhere–in true Alinsky form–to push an agenda of gun control. It’s deplorable that our nation’s President, at a press conference regarding this tragedy, stood on the backs of the deceased in order to propel his agenda, while refusing, once again, to name the religion associated with such devastation.
I simply wish leftists would take some time to learn anything about guns, instead of spouting off about a subject in which they remain entrenched in ignorance.
The AR-15 is NOT an automatic weapon. Automatic weapons are highly regulated and extremely difficult to obtain. If you took a few moments to educated yourself, instead of pissing your pants at the site of a gun, perhaps you would understand the difference.
And that’s your rebuttal? An AR-15, a weapon that was just used to kill over fifty people, isn’t an automatic weapon and therefore it’s legal?
The sane response to that is this just shows would be that we need go beyond banning automatic weapons and ban weapons like an AR-15.
What’s the NRA’s response? People need AR-15’s for home defense. Really? When’s the last time you heard about fifty people breaking into somebody’s house? The only people that need a weapon that kills fifty people in a row are mass murderers.
