I called a company on Thursday (11/11) & I called them again today.
While the options have not changed (1 is still customer service, 2 is still sales, & 3 is still tech support) the outgoing automated message ("This call is being recorded for quality & training purposes. If you know your party’s extension, please dial it now…) has changed, & the voicemail message when they don’t pickup has changed it is very close to the “please listen carefully as our menu options have recently changed” you get on so many automated greetings.
Therefore, a company whose menu options did actually change may really exist somewhere out there!!! This is more exciting than finding a living dodo bird & I might just be in the running for a Nobel prize for this discovery!
My doctor’s office was one that had the “some options may have changed” message yet the options were the same for years. But in recent years some doctors have retired and some new ones have joined the practice, so the options have changed. I have to pay attention now when I call!
I have an account with a strictly online store the Lil’wrekker likes to order from.
To pay the bill you have to listen ‘very’ carefully. I’ve learned to push 3 to pay. But that’s not in the menu options. I accidentally found out 3 takes you right to payment option.
I defy anyone to hear that in the looooonnnngggg list of options.
I just hate writing and mailing a check.
And, their web site is very janky unless your putting things in your cart. They never jank that up. Well, that’s a lie. Once it’s in your cart it’s hard to get it out.
