I don’t ignore anybody. I like to see what kinds of crazy thinking is going on out there, and then watch people self destruct in fascination and horror. It’s not like you have to respond to the crazy, you know.
The crazy stupid people are about the only thing keeping me coming back here.

I am dying to know who these annoying posters are, and I can’t seem to figure it out on my own. It sounds like people I would enjoy knowing have finally gotten their due - any allowable clues you can drop? My only ignore lister is a she, and unfortunately she’s still sucking up air around here.
I don’t think we’re allowed to talk about who’s on our ignore lists (though maybe we can in the Pit). Having said that, this thread and the linked ATMB thread comes on the heels of Dio’s banning. If you read the ATMB thread, a few more get banned along with him.
JoeyP is off a bit there. Dio got a one month suspension (and not for his typical behavior that pisses almost everybody off). Another poster also got a one month suspension. A couple other follks DID get banned.

The thread where suspension was announced is in ATMB and you can see the four linked threads there. The most recent one is probably what really did it. I have no interest in re-hashing the thread in question, but it seems that someone suggested they were going to attempt to ask his daughter out to prove a point (but said “try it on her” which made sense in the context of the thread). Dio, in all his glory, interpreted that as the poster suggesting he was going to rape his 11 year old daughter (he had not at this point mentioned his daughter was 11 that I know of). He got modsmacked for twisting words.
Here’s where it starts with ZPG saying telling Dio that he can’t stop a guy from seeing his daughter.
I dunno how commonly known it was, but I seem to recall his daughters being described as kids once or twice. I myself have enjoyed enraging the ogre by making self-evidently true statements like “You know, when your daughters are old enough, someone will want to fuck them.” In fact the alternative preposition, that no-one will want to fuck them, strikes me as far more insulting.
He mentioned that, but as someone else pointed out, now one is going to wade through almost 60,000 posts to find out if he’s ever mentioned how old his daughter is.

I approve the OP’s message. Perhaps we can have about a month without a combination of a particular poster moving the goalposts when he’s losing an argument, coupled with an inability to determine that only the Pope’s opinions are the same as facts. (And even for him, only when he’s sitting in his fancy Pope-chair.)
I agree - so I’m not taking Dio off my ignore list.
