I’ve still got about three fingers left in this bottle of Gold especial…hell I’ll have a shot w/ya
Does it pay to shop around other threads, or is this the place to be?
I dont want to overtax the hamster guys.
On the positive side, it appears that Daschle is going to lose which makes me feel warm all over.
Bush leads by 130,000 votes in Ohio, two thirds reporting.
The major urban centres have reported a lot of their votes. I don’t see how it is possible for Kerry to come back. Ohio was the state he had to win and it’s time to accept that he has lost it.
The blankety-blank Sconnies are 50-48 for Kerry, Florida’s a lost cause, Ohio’s up in the air. Minnesota’s solidly for Kerry (thank the blankery-flank lord) and who knows.
Why do I do this to myself?
Ohio is really starting to piss me off. Exit polling has the state with a significant lean towards Kerry but Bush’s actual lead still holds at around 120 thousand.
Well, that same thought just occurred to me, but unfortunately, I’m the teacher.
I think I’m going to bed at midnight, unless a miracle occurs and they call Ohio first. I’ve been up since five, and enough is enough.
wouldn’t know…haven’t bothered to look. everybody here has their (hick) bottles handy and are keeping up with the results so fukit I got my cigars handy and a rocking chair. have a seat
CNN still shows Cuyahoga at 52% of precincts. That could be close to 100,000 votes right there.
LOL…thanks for giving me a nice chuckle Fretful.
What? With all the brain power put together in this thread, you can’t tell me who’s going to win?
I’m going to bed, hugely dissapointed with the Straight Dope.
Disappointed with the Straight Dope? I’m disappointed with America in general…
Call FL and AZ already, CNN. BUsh has both locked.
So you can return some of that moolah you won in Bricker Challenges?
Thanks, I just fixed me a screw driver. No rocking chair but I got a Lazy-Boy. Good deal.
Ghostbusters, yes.
“Choose the method of your destruction!”
I’ll take a shot of that tequila, CBEscapee. Got any olives? I like mine with olives…
According to Jon Stewart, most of the states that had anti-gay marriage laws on the ballots passed them. Maybe there’s some sort of barge in the middle of the ocean I could go live on.
Better make that a doubleshot, CBEscapee.
There’s still hope, at the moment…
It’s 94,000, still short, and Bush will pick up votes in the following counties: Defiance, Clermont, Van Wert, Warren (maybe as many as 25,000 there) Licking and Miami.
I wish this wasn’t so, because I despise Bush, but he’s taken Ohio, and with that, the election. The unwillingness of the networks to call it is silly.
I’ve got an unopened one here. What does ‘Fabrica La Rojena’ mean?
At least I won’t have to learn about an entirely new presidential administration. I can keep trashing the same Admin.
I’ve got four more years until I have to learn about a new guy.
