sorry had to use the facilities and get me another drink…damn I’m about out.
Fabrica La rojena’ IIRC is the family name of the distillery that makes Cuervo now.

Anybody else notice that on the CNN page the party breakdown shows more Democrats voting for Bush than Republicans voting for Kerry?
USA Today has called FL for Bush
CNN calls 234 for Bush. Add locks in MT, AK and CO, he’s at 249. He gets Ohio’s 20, and it’s over.
Colorado will go to Bush, easily, which has been obvious for four months. He’s got a significant edge, and the only Kerry-friendly districts are reporting.
Nevada at this point looks like Bush will come back and win; almost all the votes counted are Clark County, e.g. Las Vegas. Once they get more rural votes Bush can pull ahead.
Bush is winning New Mexico. I don’t see any reason that will change.
She’s over, folks.
I meant 270 Kerry, 268 Bush. Doesn’t matter, though. If Bush takes Ohio (and don’t forget - the CEO of Diebold is “committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the President”), I’ll have to start printing up my T-shirts that read
Please, O Great and Glorious Leader, protect my civil liberties if you deem them worthy of your attention. Thank you.
So I can be allowed to be seen in public.
I should have said a higher percentage not “more.” Oops.
And Ohio is looking good for Bush, although it’s close.
My math says that now, if Bush wins Ohio and we give him Alaska, the best Kerry can hope for is a tie, and for that, he has to get everything Gore won as well as Nevada and New Hampshire. Even then, he’s screwed, as the Republicans control the House.
Ah, yes according to the BACK of the bottle they are the current trademark holders. :smack:
It’s only a local affair.
The forces of nature will be sufficient to evolve another species individually intelligent and socially communicative somewhere — if not in this galaxy then in the next — and things will be as they should be.
Just not for us.
I am still hoping you folks are wrong about the fate of Ohio. Aside from that, I recently saw I Heart Huckabees. I am preparing for bad news: I am accustoming myself to an understanding of myself as pond mold. ::whack::
It’d be shocking if Bush won California, but right now he’s only 5% behind. And the last tracking polls before the election had California in single digits as well. So you never know…
Wow. Dee Dee Meyers is looking now like what Tucker Carlson looked liked late this afternoon. Ohio is the key…
That’s okay…if you’re not used to drinking tequila that kinda shit’ll happen. I think I must’ve spilled some on my computer…it’s acting pretty fucked up right now, too.
I think that the fat lady is tuning up…though its probably not going to be decided until tomorrow for sure, I think that Bush might have pulled this off guys. :smack:

I thought this might happen. Just in my family, there are several Democrats voting for Bush.
I know of precious few Republicans going for Kerry. The man is quite liberal, and has little crossover appeal.
Anecdotal, I know. Nice to see this impression confirmed by polling data.
With no states changing color, have we become a permanently divided country?
Of course he did.
I fucking hate this country.
I know the staff discourages posters pulling up a chair in these threads but ya reckon they’ll let it slide for tonight?
It’s not like we’re just fuckin around. well, not totally anyway…
BTW where the hell are they?
Not my fault you keep sending me those $25 Amazon gift certificates. I got a nice Weber grill out of the last few of those.
We’ll see how things shake out. It’s still conceivable that you’ll keep sending me money.
