Nevertheless … if the Cleveland area is all counted (and I understand that it is), the numbers right now clearly indicate a Bush victory.
Good link, only 14 pages of Tequila info. Need more. Tequila that is.
Besides Cuyahoga–Warren, Miami, Clermont, and Lucas counties in OH still have large numbers of precincts that haven’t reported yet. All are fairly populous and are skewing heavily Democratic.
Other populous counties
Hamilton 44% reported- skewing slightly to Kerry.
Medina 67% - skewing to Bush
Paulding has 0% reporting so far.
“We’re screwed, man! We’re SCREWED!”
Massive. Civil. Unrest.
If Bush really won, the next four years are going to be uhhh-gleeee. Not necessarily a civil war, but it won’t be pretty.
Why? Their coverage has seemed to be as good as the other one’s I’ve been watching tonight…better than most even. They were the last to go with Florida to Bush.
I think this is a knee jerk reaction.

FNC had been fairly conservative in calling states so I am surprised that they would call Ohio if it wasn’t fairly secure.
ya like that did ya? I thought ya mite…man I’m nursing the last of mine…where the hell you at…I thought you said you had a new bottle?
Yep.
I had seen a county-by-count map that showed that the Cincinatti area went all Bush in 2000. That may not mean much in 2004 – but I was thinking that Bush only needed to survive a hit from the Cleveland area to take Ohio.
BTW, looks to me like New Mexico is going to go Bush…its almost getting to the point Kerry can’t win here either.

The Ohio Elections
web site has updated numbers.
Technically, you are correct.
But it’s close enough. Well over 90% of the Cleveland area is in.
They just gave Washington State to Kerry…they say Ohio ain’t in yet?
Stepanopolis? is talking about atie? nbc
For what legitimate reason? Bush is clearly going to win the popular vote, fairly decisively. If he wins the EV, what’s your basis for being upset? The voters have spoken. I didn’t vote for him either, but I accept the result.
Fox may have been premature in calling Ohio. MSNBC just said that that Kerry is doing extremely well in Cleveland, and may close the gap.
Haven’t had a chance to skim the thread, but what’s this I hear about 90,000+ absentee ballots in Florida that won’t be counted until Thursday? WTF?
I wish, but it wont happen.
Getting punched in the stomach twice sort of takes the will to resist right out of you.
This is worth its own thread, but look at it this way; how can you be outraged by a elector “defecting” either way? The system is set up such that electors can vote however they please.
It’s like getting pissed over someone winning the EV without winning the popular vote. There’s nothing to be pissed about because that’s not the way the system works. If you’re going to have the President elected by Electors, you have to accept that that’s how it works and if they decide to exercise their Constitutional powers, well, them’s the breaks.
As Zell Miller shows, it might not necessarily be a Republican who jumps ranks.
Ain’t gonna matter this year; Bush is taking Ohio.
