But there are 60,000 absentee ballots in Bernalillo County alone (including mine, which won’t be of any use in this race.)

Bush’s raw lead is only 110,000 though with only 86% in.

I did. My stupid neighbor is over and he drinks like a fish.
I’ve actually got about half a fifth left. That would be one tenth. The end is in site.

I will not accept it. He did not win fairly and I will not fucking rest.

Then put HER in CHARGE!!!

most of the votes out in NM are in Bernalillo county which has 66% counted and Kerry’s advantage 52%-46%.

Bush is currently up statewide 228,557 to 209,286, but Bernalillo could make that up. Though San Juan county could be a spoiler.
(stats from CNN site)

After this election you intellecksh’ls and freethinkers are going to be the first up against the wall. I, for one, welcome our new Evangelical Christian overlords.

Okay, seriously, on MSNBC they were saying that the Christian Right turn out was phenomenal. Kudos for Rove and the Republican machine for offsetting the huge Democratic turnout, but I fear we inch closer to a Demotheocracy.

They may be backtracking…

Who may be backtracking? Fox or MSNBC?

I’m not going to completely give up on Ohio until 1.) all the absentee ballots are counted, and 2.) the election has been thoroughly investigated for shenanigans. Kerry can still pull up close enough for these things to make a difference. It’s only a glimmer of hope, but it is a glimmer.

OHIO results as of NOW w/ lots of votes out yet

President/Vice President
Office Candidate Party Votes % Of Votes
Statewide Totals
Bush, George W. Republican 2,273,231 51.65%
Kerry, John F. Democratic 2,106,545

Well, I’m off to bed. I’m trying to look at the upside.

I’m glad that Bricker doesn’t have to explain to Mrs. Bricker why the savings account seems to be shrinking.

And I’m glad I don’t live in the US.

I’m in Sandoval here. The problem is Kerry would have to take a higher percentage of those votes than he’s currently taking in the state to have those help him enough to win. He still COULD win New Mexico (and I thought he WOULD win New Mexico), but its becoming more and more difficult for him to do so at this point.

That makes you a hypocrite. An honest hypocrite, which I appreciate. But if there’s one set of rules for your side and one for the other, that’s hypocrisy.

So … Cleveland isn’t counted yet? Lots of conflicting reports around hee-yuh.

[Dr. Evil] I’m the boss … need the info … [/Dr. Evil]

How the hell is this happening? Has everyone in all those red states had their heads up their arses all this time???

How the fuck can that fucknugget win???

Fingers still crossed but feeling like abortion and gay marriage should be more important to me if that is the way the “free” world is going. I was oddly thinking bombing the shit out of foreign countries for no apparent reasom might be more important.

I’ll accept that if you can provide a cite.

Fox is backing off the Ohio thing I think…at least for now. Its narrowed to just over 100k votes separating them at this point.

Tough. Deal with it.

See Sam Stone’s post below. I’m not saying that they lie or are illegitimate, just that they sometimes make huge mistakes and can occasionally be unprofessional. Not that ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN aren’t similar at times, but Fox seems to be a notch below.
