Me, too.

No way.

As of 0055 EST, Kerry is 100,000 behind, but Cuyahoga County has reported 600,000 votes from 9 out of 10 precincts. Lucan and Franklin County are mostly reported, too. Kerry can’t make up another 100,000 votes there. And there are a lot of districts that will give Bush more votes - Miami County will be good for another 10K for Bush, and Warren could be another 15K.

Kerry has to close a +3,000,000 gap in the popular vote. The trend has been going in favor of Bush since about 10 or 11, somewhere in there.
This is a decisive victory for Bush.

1/2 of a 5th of 128 ounces = 12.8 shots

man I wish I had 13 shots left

With all due respect, I was in Wisconsin polling and shilling for the Republicans and let me tell you that the Democrats were just as guilty as the Republicans with so-called Shenanigans.

NBC calls Ohio for Bush.

Were there really lines at the Ohio polls til midnight? How long did it take for the polls to actually close there?

Imagine the pressure if you were standing in line and heard how close the election was.

It’s over. Cuyahoga is 90% in, finally. While that cut the Bush lead to 100,000, it’s not nearly enough. With the expected AK declaration for Bush, that gives him 269. He wins.

Paulding isn’t gonna help Kerry, as much as I wish it would. Too small, too heavily favoring Bush.

I oughta know, I live in this godforsaken county.

What has the trend traditonally been for absentee ballots in New Mexico? (This is only my second Presidental election, and in 2000 I was still in high school and voted in my old elementary school.)

They’d have been the last holdout.

Fox says there are at least 150,000 provisional ballots to be counted in Ohio (my guess is that many would be from Kerry-supporters <cough>). Who knows how many in FL.

Is it really over?

Jeez, Iowa is close. Nader and Badnarik might actually have made an impact there.

Asterion: Traditionally absentee ballots skew Republican.

Local reports have been backing that claim up all day.

Well if you give Kerry 60% of that vote it still wouldn’t be enough. Ohio to Bush,

MSNBC is calling Ohio for Bush.

Iowa shows a 17 vote difference between Kerry and Bush with 86% of precincts reporting.

And by the way, I think FNC have done a very good job with their coverage.

Tom Brokaw can barely contain his anger. Real impartial there Tom.

Whoever laid out the counties for Iowa sure like little squares didn’t they?

That sure is a close race.

With 84% reporting - looks like Daschle is toast
