Sorry to be late checking in, but still planning to be there. Had to cover a vacation at work so reverted to nights for a while, and can’t really post from there.

If I tell you it’s a combination of Biogeography, Evolutionary Mechanisms and Photography will your brain explode enough to forget how to give me crap? 
I will be there. I am assuming that no one wants a ride there. Rides back are still available to Vienna Metro. (I don’t drink all that much, so don’t worry.)

Not to speak for mcott, but I believe he has his arrival covered. I also believe he might appreciate that ride back to Vienna. 
Is it just me or do I look surly in all of those pictures (Except the second-to-last one. There I just look funny.)?
It was really unfortunate that the volume on the music drowned out the great conversation but it was nice to see old friends and meet new ones.

I look sleepy in both of the photos I’m in. 
I must remember to open my eyes a little more for photos, even though I know I’m about to be blinded… Anyway, I assure you that I was not sleepy – the company was way too good for that.
Yeah, I really thought we’d be “safe” so far away from the dancefloor, but we wouldn’t have been any better off where we started out. Now I know that we should either meet earlier, or meet somewhere else.

Thanks for bringing us together, Misnomer. Your first time meeting Dopers, you didn’t wait around, just went ahead and organized it yourself! I liked how you did that.
Sorry, I didn’t make it, it looks and reads like it was a lot of fun. I was just too dead after two days of “museuming” and the prospect of two more to go. I must say though, that Washington is a great city, and I will be back (preferably during weekdays only, and in warmer weather). If anyone ever pops up to Ottawa, post a thread or email, and I’d be glad to show you around.
