Now that Elon Musk has bought Twitter - now the Pit edition (Part 1)

Ouch. How much does it cost to play? Can you pay for it with heat (hot air) tokens?

Don’t you dare put a science tag on that one!

Plain event, 0 cost, no tags other than the Event one. I would show a copy but the SDMB Discord settings don’t allow me to embed it in the post.
A hot air cost would be appropriate, though!

You have to upload it to a photo sharing site, then link to the photo there.

Here it is inline:

But looks good. :+1:

I’m sure you mean “Elon tweets after escaping from Donald J. Trump Home for Treatment of Terminal Logorrhea” but it’s also funny to imagine a place called the “Donald J. Trump Home for Treatment of Terminal Logorrhea and Tweets”

Microsoft has dropped Twitter from their marketing center. Musk has threatened to sue them in response (he’s lying of course it is just a performance for the Muskrats).

The replies are absolutely FULL of legacy verified users telling Elmo to fuck off.

A few choice selections;

“So you’re saying that is going well”
– Some Random Muskrat No Doubt

Assuming it is false (which it probably isn’t), it would be really funny if Microsoft sued him.

It’s real.

Of course, Elmo is a pathological liar and this is the exact same thing he said about Substack two weeks ago before backpedaling on that, so this is probably just agile bluster.

Musk proclaims: “Do not buy a Tesla!”

(note he actually said it would be insane to buy anything except a Tesla, I’m just making a joke based on the headline)

Earlier this month, Twitter quietly removed transgender-specific protections from its hateful conduct policy, drawing criticism from advocates who say there has been a spike in anti-LGBTQ rhetoric since Twitter CEO Elon Musk took over the platform last year.

Wow, that article doesn’t include a hint that any of Musk’s overblown claims about FSD might not pan out. No mentions of previous missed deadlines, no contrary opinions from other experts, nothing. Sloppy journalism.

Well, there was a bullet-point list of caveats and cautions on the topic, but it was being carried to the event by a six-year-old child and the child was run down by a Tesla in the parking lot.

 I’m dyin’.

But not as literally as the children run over by Teslas.

eh, nothin’

Did Starship manage to at least make it Musk’s 20,000 foot view? Maybe it ran into him on the way up?
