It’s a funny old world.
Thinking about it more, I bet it’s the celibate part that’s pertinent. Voluntary celibacy is a virtue among some of that set, so calling them fake celibates is the insult. Adding meth-user to it is just the icing on the cake.
Of course, my main failure is trying to apply logic to that crowd.

So I saw a headline about how Elmo got banned from Path of Exile 2 for botting, and I was prepared to point and laugh at King Dipshit for cheating in an online video game.
But then I read the article and found out that their source for the story was Elmo himself posting a screenshot to Twitter and saying he just has a really high APM.
And then I realized that the world’s richest man and de facto president of the United States is so desperate for attention that he’s bragging about his leet gamer skillz on a Diablo ripoff that most people haven’t even heard of.
And that’s even MORE pathetic.
Almost literally, a loose cannon.
Now he’s trying to provoke a government shutdown.
Echoing a campaign back on Twitter when it was Twitter (about Steve Bannon), BlueSky users are trying to get #PresidentMusk trending.
Because Donald takes so well to people who steal the spotlight from him–not to mention to people widely assumed to be telling him what to do.

I agree. Trump can’t get rid of Musk because if he tried, Musk would just throw more money at him. And he is absolutely incapable of turning down money. But making Trump look weak will infuriate him and having no way to threaten Musk will drive him crazy. Such a dilemma. I’m all for anything that makes him miserable.
