NPR.org website messed up?

I use this as my browser home page, and in the past few days the formatting is all messed up or completely missing. You can still read the stories but the photos and captions, and all the clickable things, are scrambled up and not functioning properly.

Does anyone else see this? This is the only site that is doing this for me, so I don’t think it’s my browser, or connection or anything like that.

Looks fine on my phone.

Mine too (thanks, I didn’t think to check that), but that’s a different interface from a regular PC. Which I neglected to mention, that’s what I use to access that site.

I just checked from my laptop and it seemed fine to me.

I got lost for awhile reading some of the stories.

Hmm, if it’s me, I wonder what could be causing a problem with just this site? I have sent them a message, but I don’t expect an answer very soon.

Have you tried opening the site in a private/incognito window?

Can you try opening it in a different browser (e.g. Firefox instead of your usual Chrome)?

Clear your browser cache?

That used to be the goto suggestion to address weird browser behavior. I don’t see that so much now so maybe things have gotten more stable…

This worked, so I tried this:

And that also worked…

Thanks folks. I used to be good at this stuff, but since I retired I’m out of practice.
