Every week NPR has a little challenge where a composer (named Bruce Adolphe I believe) disguises a popular tune by playing it in the style of a classical composer. The contestant tries to guess the tune and the composer. The hosting show Performance Today seems to have been dropped from NPR’s lineup. Does that mean the Piano Puzzler is gone forever? Can I hear it somewhere else?
Performance Today is now at American Public Media. The Piano Puzzler still shows up at PT’s new site, so I think it’s just a matter of finding a station that airs the show.
