Julie London and Gwen Verdon both died yesterday.
I posted this thread exactly this morning, but—sadly—it seems to have dropped off the front page due to lack of interest . . .
The weird thing is, I was just reading about Julie London the day before she died. I look someone up, a day later she dies. I think I am going to have to go look at Regis Philbin’s IMDB page, work my magic for good instead of evil.

Gwen Virdon created the role of Lola, the Devil’s sexy assistant, on Broadway in Damn Yankees, and also played her in the movie. She also originated Charity in Sweet Charity and has other credits too numerous to list.
