The new season started Tuesday night. This is the final season. It was ABC’s decision to end the show, and since the ratings were good, it’s hard to understand.
I missed some of the eps last year. Did something happen with Connie, Andy’s wife? She’s not showing up in the credits.
There’s a new blonde detective (I like her), and John (newly drunk and lecherous) is putting moves on her. The dark-haired woman detective is jealous and has talked to the blonde about “flirting”.
The new captain reminds me of the HR Manager at my last full-time job. (I quit – after twelve years – a few months after he started.)
I like the character though – it’ll be fun watching Andy and Metavoy bump up against him.
Who else is watching? Any predictions about how it will all end up? I envision a huge retirement party for Andy. They’d better not kill him off.
