I’ve renewed the league for this year, and sent out invitations to everyone that played last year. Hoping for more players this year, as we only had a handful last time.
Everyone is welcome to play. There is no limit to the number of players. We’re using confidence point scoring, and will be picking the “Yahoo Default” and SEC games. Your lowest weekly score will be dropped for ranking purposes.

Week 1 games are posted and available for picking. First game this week appears to be Tennessee @ N.C. State. For reasons entirely unclear to me, Tennessee is the underdog according to…whatever decides who gets listed as the underdog on the picks list (I think this is new this year). That being the case, Tennessee is my official Upset Special for Week 1, winning on the road, and winning big. Gonna be hearing a lot of “Rocky Top” in this one.
On a somber, perhaps even tragic note–there is some unknown situation involving my local ABC channel, and as things stand right now, I will not be able to see Alabama v. Michigan on Saturday night. This is just wrong. A thing that should not be. If this miscarriage of justice is not corrected, I’ll be forced to either follow the game online or listen to it on the radio.
Zeldar pointed out that for some reason the SEC games were not included. I’m not sure what happened, but I think that is fixed now. If you entered your picks between my last post and this one, you will need to go back in and redo them before the deadline. There are 27 games to pick this week.
