Here’s Obama’s face during Seth Meyers’ bin Laden joke last night at the press correspondence dinner. I can’t think of a funnier joke than one you’re one of just a handful of people in on, but that thousands are laughing at.
FFS, Bricker–would you be so pious at Hitler’s death?
Spare some pity for the almost 3000 people he helped kill, as well as the Afghans he has killed.
He chose this path in his life; his victims did not.
Nope. Read the thread. They’ve been waiting on DNA confirmation.
That’s what I heard.
He did. Whether that’s political bullshit or not is a different question.
I have read the thread; I am just commenting on what Obama is saying in his speech. And I swear he said “today.”
No, he said he could share this news with America tonight.
A good President would have prevented the attack. An average President would have avenged the attack. A lousy President would have invaded the wrong country.
The only thing Bush did right was leave office.
Very dramatic ending to the speech there with Obama just turning and walking away.
Interesting how Obama waited until May Day to announce this!
That’s just so perfect. It brings a tear to my eye.
Today is Sunday. If it happened on Saturday, it happened “last week”. Not “a week ago”, but “last week”.
OMG… I was listening to the radio and they broke in with Obama’s speech and I literally got goosebumps. It felt like ice water was flowing through my veins, but in a good way.
This is wonderful, wonderful news in my book.
Now they’re saying it happened today.
Nope, listed to the speech. Obama said it happened today. I’m not saying it did happen today. I’m saying that’s what Obama just claimed.
Anyway, good riddance.
No, he said he ordered the attack today.
The obvious conclusion is that the media got it wrong. I’m guessing Obama knows when he ordered this attack.
Hell yeah! I’m not a religious man, but can I say “Thank God”? I hope that if Osama indeed has a soul, he is undergoing pain more horrible than that he caused millions of people, both physically and emotionally.
You bet your sweet ass I’m cheering.
The announcement is over. Let the doubting begin.
Bite me. Have you been there? 24/7, since this happened? I was, in 2008, my son is now, and US military forces have there, yes, tirelelessly, since the beginning.
Bullshit… They’re reading Bush’s belated greetings on Fox right now…any cheap misdirection.
