FDR had polio, not Guillain-Barre. If FDR had Guillain-Barre he would have had a more complete recovery as he worked very hard at rehab and was not all that old when it hit him. My nearly 70 year old cousin got Guillain-Barre last December and working regular physical therapy has come a lot farther than FDR could ever had hoped to.
Nixon wasn’t that great in the sack, from what I hear. The reason Woodward and Bernstein went with the code name Deep Throat I heard is that Nixon kept trying to learn the technique. Unfortunately, he just couldn’t get it down pat.
