Rachael Maddow had an excellent summary of Obama’s accomplishments back in 2010 that should cheer up any liberal, and make one wonder what he could have accomplished if not for brick-wall Republican opposition, and could accomplish in his next four years.

I’m not making that assumption.

If the Congress stays Republican, however, we’re going to need HIM there to “brick wall” THEM.

Well, I have two reasons:

1. Their entire reason for living in the past four years has been to make him look bad so he doesn’t get reelected. Lacking that reason, some wind will go out of their sails, and they won’t have such a driving purpose, which means

2. The growing annoying on the part of the population is more of a threat when there isn’t a driving purpose, especially if some of the freshman incumbents get axed.

Because Mitch McConnell is probably not going to say the party’s top priority is making Obama a one term president when he’s already a two term president.
