As a lifelong Tarheel, I’m glad to see his impeccable judgment evincing itself in calling the championship for Carolina. 
It makes you wonder how he has time to watch any sports, doesn’t it? Then again, doing personal things is still pretty damned important as a human being.
He goes with virtually straight chalk, all the way through. Not much audacity there.
But he’s a real fan, not just a poseur, clearly.
Yeah, it’s not a very inspiring bracket, is it? I’ve just seen that 538.com has an analysis of some possible political bent to his choices…or maybe not.

Ha ha, Mr. President! UCLA somehow wins a squeaker against VCU! I can see why he liked VCU, Larry Sanders is a friggin’ monster. 7’ 7" wingspan, that dude can block anything! Thank god my Bruins managed to steal a shitload of balls in the first half, and then Larry got in foul trouble, so UCLA had a chance to score some points. Man, that was an exciting game!
Here’s Obama’s bracket for anyone who’s interested. He sure is a better picker than me, though. I’m assuming the Department of Basketball staff helped him out.

After the first day, I seem to be doing better than the Commander-in-Chief. He is in the 22nd percentile and I am in the 77th. Since both are Sweet 16 teams are all in still, it could all change quickly.
He picked North Carolina? Hell, UNC isn’t even going to make it past LSU!
