With the incredible success of the this Obscure 1970s Song Question Thread in mind, I hereby start Obscure 1970s Song Question Thread, Part Deux.
I’m trying to discover who did a song that I last heard on CHFI-FM in Toronto sometime in 1978. (Okay, I have a good memory for music.)
The general theme, and possibly the title, was ‘Shoes’. It was about dancing in new shoes or boots, I think. The song had a vaguely Russian or Slavic feel to it.
For those who remember melodies, I’m going to try to make and then link here to a MIDI file of the bits that I remember of the melody.
It’s time to get to the bottom of this once and for all…
