Obscure Movie / TV crushes from your youth

get yourself a copy of ‘the fountainhead’ - and a towel. drop-dead traffic-stopping gorgeous. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, den, I actually did. I spoke to a nephew of his once, when I was working reservations for an airline. He seemed impressed that I recognized his surname and asked if he was related to “Dave Seville.”

This topic has had me thinking for a while. I once spoke to “Mrs. Monte Markham” in the same context, only to learn that I was making a reservation for another childhood crush. Monte Markham. Mmmm.

…and Michael York. And Keir Dullea. Where are these coming from?!?

Did you forget Michael Sarrazin and Christopher Jones?

Not all that obscure, but Kristy McNichol in “Family” - my first TV-star crush. Later, she went on to bat for the other team, if I remember rightly. Ah well…

All right, den, I did forget Michael Sarrazin. Yum. I’ll have to claim ignorance on Christopher Jones, though. IMDB came up with too many hits, and the ones that seemed in the right time frame didn’t have photos. Can you elaborate?

All right, I´ve got your obscure right here.

When I was about 5, I was head over heels for the guy who played Tackleberry in Police Academy.

Yet another Randolph Mantooth fan here! Also -

Bruce Boxleitner in How the West Was Won

John Perry (Matthew Perry’s dad & former Old Spice model) & Mark Harmon in 240-Robert

For me it was Silas. I don’t know if it was broadcasted in America, but it was one of my favourite on TV. And the song was so great too… !

Link to some pics :

Silas

I also liked very much Punky Brewster… (was already bi in my youth !)

You can hear the music and see the credit titles (?) here :

Jeff Chandler
Jack Wild (Artful Dodger and HR Pufnstuff)

He was the love interest in “ryan’s daughter” and starred in the classic “wild in the streets.” You know him (and I’ll bet you had a crush on him.)
