Occasional Loss Of Focus (Vision)?

Just wondering A) If this happens to anyone else and B) If anyone knows just what’s going on…

Occasionally, my eyes do this thing where they sort of go out of focus. Everything isn’t blurry, really, but I lose the ability to focus on points, and everything looks like my eyes are just barely crossing. This always leads to terrible, terrible headaches and nausea for the next few hours…

I assume the headaches and nausea are a result of my brain not knowing what to do with this weird information my eyes are sending it, but I’d love to know what causes my eyes to go out of whack in the first place…

That sounds like a migraine to me … blurry vision can be a precursor, and it would explain the terrible headaches and nausea.

You might want to speak to your doctor about it, if nothing else, s/he can recommend some meds to help with the headaches.

And if you’re too afraid to go to the GP doctor, at least go to an optometrist.

But if you have bad headaches, there is no reason to suffer with them. There are many effective treatments for them now.
