Have you visited the No Kings website? Because I think they have a planned webinar regarding what to do next.
I saw a clever sign but thought it might violate a rule to post it so partly
trump is not a c**t, he doesn’t have the depth or warmth.
This video gives a better feel for the size of part of the crowd on the Boston Common. This is looking down at the field on which the main stage was located. Behind me, on the other side of the crest was another area where many more people were gathered, perhaps a quarter of the number that were in front of me.
The official estimates were 120,000 - 150,000.
My favorite sign: “Hey Trump: George Soros didn’t have to pay us to be here. We hate you for free!”
I was over there on that side too. I was closer to the stage and right up against the path, like halfway between the carousel and stage. We got there earlier than I anticipated so we stood there so we could see everyone walk by easier. And it kept us from getting too claustrophobic when the people on the path kept moving. Never felt too boxed in.
I don’t know if next time I would prefer moving the whole time, checking out the whole crowd, or standing in one spot and letting them walk by me again. Or bringing a chair. I’d like to march for the next big one. The energy is different.
And no. I don’t think yesterday magically fixed anything. But I think it’s a very important step. We keep showing how many of us there are, how peaceful we are, how angry we are.
“First they ignore you. Then they ridicule you…”
We got under el donald’s skin. He was already so far gone that he named his mental disorder after himself. Now, he released a video of himself losing his load.
I was at a rally in the Chicago suburbs (Highland Park), with maybe a thousand or more people and many dogs.
A woman in a Pikachu costume and a man in an Uncle Sam costume wearing a Shrek mask (green like a frog, I guess) lead the enthusiastic and frequent cheers. I didn’t see any black people, but there were some Latinos and other POC. There were a good number of people wearing something yellow as suggested, but most weren’t. We started off with “This Land is Your Land” in lieu of the national anthem, and ended with a speech from our congressman.
Yeah, I saw very little yellow. Maybe this is a color people don’t really keep in their wardrobes.
I totally missed the “wear yellow” memo. When did that happen? What does it mean?
I did have a shirt with a message though:
And I am even farther out-of-the-loop—I’ve missed out on the green frog meme.
What’s the symbolism, for both the yellow and the green ?
Should I feel embarrased for not knowing?
I feel it should have been “Wear Blue.” Not only does almost everyone have blue clothing at home in their wardrobe, but it’s the natural political opposition color to MAGA red.
That would alienate all the republicans who are nonetheless sick of trump. You know, exactly the people we’re trying to encourage to join the marches.
Fer sure. I do not think I own a yellow anything.
No idea. I will note that one of my universities had gold and green colours (U of Alberta), but I doubt that the U of Alberta figured into any of this.

…and another image, with a slightly different explanation (“it’s highly visible”):
