The bare-faced bulbul has been described in Laos. It’s the first new species of bulbul found in Asia in more than a century. Has a featherless face.

This really needs a video link, but my initial efforts were fruitless.

353 new species discovered in the eastern Himalayas in the past decade, including a flying frog, the world’s smallest deer and the first new monkey to be found in over a century.
