Odd date-error on the board - or time travels?

is my math off, or did I screw up my time travels?

is that a known bug here?

What is the error?

the error is actually mine …

i brainforked the “first post in 3 years” with the “jul 2022” …

(assuming the 3 years message is hard-linked to the 2022 date (and not to today’s date)

Billy_Rubin posted in 2020, and then on the screen captured thread in 2022. It was three years since their last post, and the notice stays there forever.

ETA: ninja’ed.

An actual link to the thread would have been nice too.

This is the post in question:

In late July 2022 the Billy_Rubin guy posted his comment. As of that date his immediately previous post (in a different thread) was in early July 2020, 2 years plus a couple weeks earlier. Which might round up to 3 years. As of today, his previous post was 3 years and 4 months ago versus today. which might round down to 3 years.

A lot of the date range conversion code on the web is suspect. When exactly is “yesterday” or “last week”, or “a year ago”? Hard to say with any precision.

We have pictures of some of our deceased dogs that apparently came from 2035.

It’s going to be so nice for you to see them again in 12 years!

i wonder if @Billy_Rubin could update us then on news from his work colleague
