I edit Wikipedia way too much. One project I work on is disambiguation - fixing ambiguous links so that they point to the correct articles. That led me to learn this set of facts:
There’s a Bosnian footballer named Nikola Vasiljević. He’s played defender for a number of clubs in the former Yugoslavia. He was born on December 19, 1983.
There’s a Serbian footballer named Nikola Vasiljević. He has also played defender for a number of clubs in the former Yugoslavia and was also born on December 19, 1983.
And to cap it off, there’s a third Nikola Vasiljević who plays defender for the club OFK Beograd. This one is Serbian, but thankfully he was born in 1991, so at least it’s not completely ambiguous.
If there are any Vasiljević parents reading this who are dead-set on naming their son Nikola, I implore you, at least make the kid play midfielder or something.
