Never seen a Python live before.
Despite writhing in envy, I wish you a great evening.
I just saw a billboard for his appearance at a casino. I was under the impression that he avoided public performances. Please post a review!
Enjoy the show. He’s hilarious. We saw him and Eric Idle a few years ago and are still talking about it.
A huge alimony award can change some peoples’ minds.
Cleese and Idle even did a tour together to get some dough to pay off exes.
Same here. I especially liked the anecdotes and background stories.
I saw him last year. He is still one of the funniest people on the planet even as he slides into the inevitable grouchy old man role.
Are you going to make a complaint?
He’s a cranky old man. In some ways he’s a relic. He’s probably adapted to change less than any of the others(except Chapman). And he doesn’t understand why people like the Holy Grail, especially Americans. He doesn’t seem to like Americans very much but all his ex-wives were American so he may have good cause. He has an inexplicable fondness for really bad clichéd ethnic jokes. I loved hearing him speak last year.
The surviving members of the cast did a few shows together a few years ago to help Idle pay off a lawsuit brought about by one of the Monty Python & the Holy Grail producers over profits from Spamalot!.
The performer never showed up! The stage was uncontaminated by Cleese!
He’s only resting.
