I know! Isn’t it awesome?
I can’t be the only one who is taking ‘head’ and ‘tail’ in their dirtiest possible senses, can I?
Wait a minute. Suspiocuiusly modern fantasy setting, evil sorceress, red-brown hair, flat chest, natural enemy of all who live . . .
IS MISTRESS A FUTURE VERSION OFLINA INVERSE?!
–
Wait. Tall. So, probably not.
This week’s (3/6) has a pretty simple setup for a joke, but I laughed out loud anyway.
The window sells it.
I was amused by ‘Cloak Bar’.
Not being in the Gay World, I’m not sure if that’s a play on something; but I thought it was funny anyway.
Strap-ons again??
Oh, yes. If pegging, strap-ons and guys taking it up the ass against their wishes didn’t exist, Oglaf would be seriously short of material.
“I’m a pretty princess!” Hilarious!
Let us be thankful, then, that it does exist, and at times can be hilarious!
I’m a bit puzzled by what happens in the epilogue of “Emancipation”.
http://www.oglaf.com/emancipation/epilogue/
Why does Ivan do a double take when he sees “the new boy”? Does he recognise him?
At first I thought that the new boy was the same guy as the one who had Ivan kidnapped in the first place, but that wasn’t him. So why does the sight of him frighten Ivan?
The new apprentice doesn’t frighten him, Mistress does. If he’s been replaced, well, Ivan has had lots of opportunities to see how she disposes of people she doesn’t need. So seeing someone else in his apprentice’s uniform is not good news.
Luckily for Ivan, Mistress doesn’t much like the new Apprentice, so she gives him a ‘skill testing question’ that’s about as hard as the ones used in promotional sweepstakes to make them not lotteries, so as to be able to take him back without admitting she preferred him.
Just what are he and Ivan apprentices of?
They’re supposed to be apprentices of magic, but Mistress simply abuses them as fools. See “Some Time Ago”.
While that’s probably true, I can’t help but wonder if maybe Mistress is actually teaching Ivan magic, Mr. Miyagi-style.
Holy crud, I never noticed that one had an epilogue! Thanks for pointing it out.
Although really, the punchline of the first page is pretty good without the epilogue.
Maybe the princess is named Peggy?
As we see in the next page of the epilogue. Her dismissal proceedings for her apprentices are a bit harsh.
Actually, if I was a male working for Mistress, I’d be thrilled to get an arrow in the head. Far, far better than the alternatives.
