I think it’s a dream sequence initiated when Ivan touched the Arrow of Regret. He’s experiencing what Ivan would have regrets about. Once the dream sequence ends, Ivan will wake up back in the treasure room and none of this will have happened.
Unless the “Fountain of Girl” only makes you look like a young woman, and you’re still just as old inside.
They were captured by slavers and sold into a harem. The four of them will eventually be given to Mistress as tribute. (The fourth will turn out to be a shape shifter.)
