Yep, Wifecat gave birth to Tereza Marie on Monday at 13:49. She was 3.65 kilos (8lbs?) and 51cm (21inches?).

Labor and delivery went reletively well, I think. From the start of the heavy contractions to birth was about 4 hours. I was there for the whole thing, coaching my #1 girl to bring #2 into the world. It was really neat. “C’mon honey! P-U-S-H!!!”

Both the mother and baby are fine, and are now home. Healthy baby, healthy mom, happy Tomcat! Tereza is most definitely a daddies girl- no fuss when in my arms. And surprisingly, she looks less like Winston Churchill than I expected. She really is cute! Wandering, curious eyes; light dusting of hair; and the cutest little nose! I’m sooooo stuck on her! What a gal!

Thanks to the wonderful, thoughtful and practical gifts of my Secret Shower folks, we are all set. Once again, may karma shine on you for a long, long time!

Yay! Congrats! Isn’t it amazing how much love you can feel on such short notice? The moment I clapped eyes on my son, I was a goner.
